The B730 M-Series is a new model designed and built at the Doosan Bobcat India factory.
Classic Design and Durable Build
The B730M is designed with simplicity in mind for both manufacturing and operating the product. The machine has durability in tough conditions as its focus, with well-known industry-leading major components for reliability and ease of service and maintenance in the field. This makes the B730M ideal for mixed contractor and rental fleets.
To ensure the highest level of quality, all structural items are designed and manufactured in-house to Bobcat’s exacting standards. Attention has been paid to hose routing and protection in all locations, including the use of a distribution hose box for the backhoe side-shift.
The all-steel hydraulic tank and battery box provide component protection and durability, with bolt-on steps all within the tire width. The battery box’s drop-down steel access door allows very easy battery maintenance. The fuel tank is made of plastic to prevent corrosion, and the fine filtration on the filler inlet and fuel pick-up protect the engine’s fuel injection equipment. A large fuel tank drain is also provided for on-site tank cleaning.
Service and maintenance points are placed in easy-to-access locations, and flipping the hood forward to service the engine is industry-leading. A kit of standard tools is included to facilitate daily maintenance.
Familiar and Comfortable Operation
The spacious cab allows easy access and plenty of room to move around, and the seat can be adjusted quickly and easily between loader and backhoe working positions. The large rear window gives great visibility for backhoe work; if necessary, it swings up and over with ease and locks securely in the cab ceiling. There are also fully opening side windows and catches to hold the door open for added ventilation when the optional HVAC system is not needed.
The handy, well-laid-out controls provide familiar functions for the loader bucket and forks, which are controlled by a single joystick. The controls are complemented by large displays and grouped switch gear for easy identification and use.
‘Bucket float’ and ‘return to dig’ are standard functions to increase the operator’s productivity, and the backhoe joysticks can be ordered with your preferred control patterns (ISO, SAE, SAE-X) for a familiar and comfortable feel. The direct mechanical backhoe controls have been tuned for smoothness and multi-function use.
Options and Attachments
The base machine can be equipped either with an enclosed cab with Cooling Fan or with an optional HVAC for optimum cab comfort in hot conditions. Both cabs come equipped with a radio and speakers as standard.
An extendable dipper arm is available as an option to replace the standard arm, and both arms can be ordered with optional hammer piping. 600 mm or 800 mm backhoe buckets are available as factory options, with other sized buckets and a breaker available as separate attachments.
The standard loader’s General Purpose Bucket can be ordered with a bolt-on cutting edge as well as pallet forks. For true versatility, a Multi-Purpose 6-in-1, with or without Pallet Fork attachments, is also available.

Additionally, to allow you to upgrade the base machine, we offer several features available as options: a 4WD shaft guard, front-wheel mudguards (fenders), ride control (loader boom suspension), and 6-in-1 ready piping.
